Job Summary

This role is for a Technical Planning and Review Engineer specializing in high and extra-high voltage overhead lines, crucial for maintaining and expanding Germany's energy infrastructure. The core responsibilities involve systematic quality assurance and evaluation of external engineering services related to transmission line routing. You will drive innovation by creating concept and variant plans in interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with technical, economic, and legal standards. Key tasks also include developing and standardizing new construction and refurbishment concepts, as well as designing specialized pylon families. You will also be responsible for the construction and modeling of 3D concepts to support planning and construction activities. Candidates must hold a degree in Surveying Technology, Geodesy, or Electrical Engineering and possess initial experience in overhead line planning, ideally utilizing routing and 3D modeling software like FM-Profil and MicroStation.
