Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Engineer in Krefeld supports the critical infrastructure operations of Autobahn GmbH, Germany's federal highway operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational planning and execution of projects related to electrical and mechanical systems across bridges, tunnels, and ancillary facilities. Daily duties involve managing the entire project lifecycle, including preparing tenders, overseeing contract awards, monitoring construction and retrofitting measures, and handling final billing. A core function is ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations concerning these technical systems. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and several years of practical experience in system planning. Essential qualifications include familiarity with German planning, contract, and procurement laws (HOAI, VOB, VDE), proficiency in MS Office and SAP products, and a willingness to undertake business travel.
