Job Summary
This role is ideal for a student currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field, offering hands-on experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. The primary focus involves modernizing and migrating the SOC tools page from SharePoint OnPrem to SharePoint Online. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing current cyber threats and threat reports to enhance existing SIEM rules, specifically focusing on Splunk dashboard revisions. Additionally, the student will contribute to knowledge management by expanding the SOC knowledge base with foundational information. Candidates must possess foundational knowledge in programming, network security, and Active Directory, coupled with a keen interest in Cyber Security and current threat landscapes. Fluency in both German and English is required, making this a dynamic position for those looking to apply academic knowledge in a professional security setting.
