Job Summary

This role as a Laboratory Technician at Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim, offered through temporary employment with a strong focus on eventual permanent placement, involves critical quality control and analytical work. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing analyses for the release of test strips and test cassettes, meticulously evaluating and documenting results, and conducting scheduled stability studies. The technician is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating quality issues, monitoring control charts for trends, and accurately inputting data into the ERP system (PDC) for reporting. Candidates must possess a completed scientific/technical qualification (such as Chemical Laboratory Technician or BTA/MTA), ideally multi-year professional experience, and familiarity with end-customer diagnostic systems. Basic knowledge of GxP standards and proficiency in MS Office are also required, alongside organizational skills and the willingness to handle potentially infectious materials.
