Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim as a Laboratory Specialist, initially through a temporary contract with a strong focus on eventual permanent takeover. The specialist will take on significant responsibility, including leading independent projects, primarily centered on high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analytics. Day-to-day activities involve active laboratory work, presenting results (potentially in English), and driving process improvements by questioning existing methods from both technical and economic perspectives. A key function is supporting the transfer of new methods from Research & Development (R&D) into Quality Control and playing a central role in root cause analysis for product and method failures during production issues. Candidates must bring relevant professional experience in HPLC analytics and possess fluent German and English skills while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
