Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position within the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) at the Naval Support Command in Wilhelmshaven requires an experienced IT professional to lead the "Specialized Information System Services" team. The core responsibilities involve setting operational standards and specifications for critical Navy IT services, acting as the primary point of contact for server administrators, and fulfilling the role of IT Service Manager for the Navy E-Mail Service deployment and maintenance. The successful candidate will also contribute to the cross-organizational development of future IT services. Key qualifications include a university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science or a related field. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must agree to and successfully pass an expanded security clearance (Ü2) and commit to upholding the democratic constitutional order.
