Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist dedicated to operating and advancing the Hospital Information System (HIS) within the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), which boasts one of Europe's most modern clinical IT environments. The specialist will actively shape the development of IT at UKE by planning and conceptualizing new applications and modules based on detailed process analyses and user consultation. Key responsibilities include independently leading implementation projects for innovative IT solutions, coordinating efforts with both internal and external service providers, and providing essential 2nd level support to end-users, with a specific focus on the clinical workstation system. Candidates should possess a scientific university degree in IT or equivalent qualifications, or at least four years of relevant professional experience. Strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze complex technical and organizational structures, and fluent German (C1 level) are mandatory for success in this impactful and stable position.
