Job Summary

This role as a Finance and Accounting Specialist places you within a leading technology company focused on mechatronic system solutions for the Defence and Aerospace industry in Essen. You will be instrumental in managing the core financial operations, focusing heavily on accounts payable and receivable. Daily tasks include processing business transactions, ensuring accurate recording, preparing payment runs, monitoring open items, and conducting crucial account reconciliations. A key responsibility is supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements compliant with HGB standards, and generating critical reports for internal decision-making within the sector. The ideal candidate possesses a completed commercial education (such as Industrial Clerk or Tax Assistant) and proven professional experience in finance or accounting. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software are essential.
