Job Summary

This role involves joining the IT department of a major municipal hospital in Dresden, focusing on the planning, implementation, and optimization of complex network infrastructure. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for the continuous development and optimization of the IT network architecture, ensuring high performance, capacity, and high availability. Key daily activities include project management for expanding active and passive network components, developing system maintenance specifications, and rigorously ensuring internal and external network security, particularly concerning networked medical devices. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field, relevant professional experience in managing LAN, MAN, and WLAN infrastructures, and familiarity with current network security and monitoring technologies.
