This role seeks an ambitious Payroll and Salary Expert to join a client team, focusing on elevating technology and innovation within the organization. The core responsibility involves the independent execution of comprehensive monthly payroll and salary statements. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the primary contact for employees and management regarding complex wage tax and social security legal matters, generating essential reports and statistics for the leadership team, and managing account reconciliation with financial accounting. A successful candidate will also be instrumental in supporting operational audits conducted by tax authorities and social security institutions, and handling all necessary external correspondence. Key qualifications include extensive professional experience in payroll administration, deep knowledge of German labor, social security, and tax law, proficiency with MS Office and SAGE software, and a relevant commercial qualification (e.g., Tax Specialist Assistant or Industrial Clerk with further payroll training).
