Job Summary

This strategic role as Trade Compliance Business Intelligence Manager involves leading a global team responsible for ensuring Syngenta Group's agricultural products comply with international trade laws, focusing specifically on customs classification (Harmonized System codes) and controlled substances regulations. You will serve as the global escalation point for complex classification disputes, liaise with governmental authorities, and actively participate in the Global Trade Compliance Team to protect Syngenta's trade interests. A critical component of the role is driving digital transformation, including sponsoring AI/automation projects to modernize classification processes and managing stakeholder expectations during major IT system changes. Candidates must possess a degree in chemistry or a related science, combined with over five years of experience in customs or international trade compliance, along with demonstrated people management skills and fluency in English.
