Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Remote Medicinal Chemist to drive active substance design strategies within the early-stage drug discovery process for a global leader in pharmaceuticals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing design strategies, optimizing lead structures based on SAR/SPR data, ADMET properties, and target selectivity. The chemist will utilize computational design methods, such as Schrödinger Live Design, and integrate chemical data through close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including Biology, Pharmacology, DMPK, and Patent Law. Key tasks also involve evaluating biological test results, preparing scientific documentation, and coordinating external research partners (CROs).
