Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on the comprehensive management and advancement of IT systems critical to energy procurement within one of Germany's top 20 utility companies. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and developing core systems like EDM Kisters BelVis, PSImarket, and AnKaFix. Day-to-day activities include creating and configuring batch jobs, monitoring and improving reporting processes, resolving performance issues and calculation errors, and ensuring automated data transfer to Controlling. A key part of the job involves continuous process analysis to identify and implement optimization potential, managing system updates and software releases, and serving as the primary technical contact for IT inquiries from the corporate IT department. The role also encompasses budget planning, license management, and negotiating maintenance contracts, contributing directly to the efficiency and future viability of energy procurement operations.
