Job Summary

This role seeks a highly qualified Development Engineer specializing in Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Lithography systems. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive testing of high-performance laser systems, including planning, execution, and detailed data evaluation. A significant part of the job includes modeling and simulation of optical system properties, utilizing tools such as Matlab and Python. The engineer will manage exciting technical projects, guiding them from initial concept development through to final product introduction. Success in this position requires close collaboration with production, service departments, and external customers to address technical issues and jointly develop solutions. Candidates must hold a Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering or physics discipline and possess practical experience in optics, laser physics, and optical metrology. Confident communication in both German and English is essential, alongside the flexibility to travel approximately 15% of the time between the Jena and Ditzingen sites.
