Job Summary

This role as a Technical Facilities Coordinator at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden involves ensuring the seamless operation of the building infrastructure for one of the world's most traditional opera houses. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently managing building-related services such as coordinating cleaning and security providers, overseeing electronic and mechanical locking systems, and managing waste disposal and external storage facilities across Berlin and Brandenburg. A key focus is organizing mandatory operator inspections for fire safety installations like fire doors and locking regulators. The coordinator will also assist in managing material handling equipment and preparing necessary tenders and bids. Successful candidates must possess a completed technical or administrative vocational qualification, excellent technical aptitude, and strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal departments, external planners, and service providers. Proficiency in MS Office and good written and spoken German are essential, along with holding a Class B driver's license.
