Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position requires an experienced IT professional to take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of a four-person IT System Management team at a leading medical laboratory in Mönchengladbach. The primary focus of the role is ensuring the stable and secure operation of all lab-specific IT systems, including managing a hybrid data center structure, overseeing network infrastructure, and maintaining robust IT security protocols with required documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities are hands-on, involving the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, managing IT authorization concepts, and driving infrastructure projects. A key aspect of the role is developing process automation and self-service solutions to optimize standard IT operations. Candidates must possess a relevant technical degree (e.g., Computer Science or IT Specialist certification), multi-year experience in Microsoft domain administration and network technology, and deep practical knowledge of Microsoft Server products, VMware, and SAN/HCI.
