Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT professional to lead a 5-person IT Service team within a renowned medical diagnostics laboratory in Mönchengladbach. The Team Leader will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, including delegating tasks, managing staff planning (shifts and vacation), and optimizing workflows while ensuring adherence to quality standards in system management. Key responsibilities also involve technical oversight of employee hardware and standard software, managing IT services documentation, and building/maintaining a knowledge management system for 1st and 2nd-Level Support. The ideal candidate must possess an IT-related technical degree or equivalent qualification, several years of experience in IT Services, and proven leadership skills. This position requires hands-on operational involvement, including managing migration, rollout, and transition projects, and developing mid- to long-term Managed Services strategies, offering a blend of technical depth and strategic leadership.
