Job Summary

This challenging Junior Airspace Surveillance Systems Engineer role involves contributing to the stability and security of current and future Swiss Army airspace surveillance systems. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise and innovative ideas to ensure reliable operation of time-critical, highly secure, and robust ICT environments. Key responsibilities include co-managing these critical systems, providing expert consultation and support to internal clients for fault analysis, and acting as the operational representative during project lifecycles. Required Skills

Education

Diploma from a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) or equivalent qualification in Informatics, Telematics, or Electronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Informatics (practical application)
  • Experience following projects through all phases as an operational representative
  • Availability for on-call duty (servizio di picchetto)
  • Desirable: Experience in air traffic control and related to VoIP and HF communications
