Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Bioassay Scientist ready to take full project responsibility within an international BioTech environment specializing in biopharmaceutical development. Day-to-day tasks involve the comprehensive planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of Bioassay projects, including direct communication with clients. A core function is driving innovation by steering internal and external R&D initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance through meticulous documentation, including the creation and maintenance of GMP-relevant documents like SOPs and risk assessments. The position requires a Master's degree in Biotechnology or a related field, coupled with practical expertise in immunology, cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, and the statistical analysis of bioassay data using specialized tools (e.g., Magellan, PLA). Successful candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in both German and English, essential for detailed protocol and report writing, and possess the organizational skills necessary for training new staff and managing complex laboratory operations.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (Dipl.-Ing. or Master) in Biotechnology or a comparable field

Experience

  • Practical experience in Immunology, Cell Culture Techniques, and Primary Cell Culture Techniques
  • Professional experience in sterile working methods, microscopy, and flow cytometry
  • Professional experience in Bioassay statistics
  • Expertise in binding and cell-based assays
  • Experience in GMP- and ISO-compliant documentation and Quality Management
  • Experience in leading and coordinating projects
