Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to head the Nursing Research Department at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH). The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the department, driving innovation in nursing through the acquisition and leadership of research projects and third-party funding initiatives. A key aspect of the role involves advancing nursing research by coaching the leaders of five research groups, fostering talent, and developing mixed profiles within the team. Furthermore, you will be expected to expand and maintain national and international networks, representing the discipline in interprofessional contexts. The role also includes teaching responsibilities at the Master's level, supervising Master's students, and ensuring knowledge transfer into continuing education programs. Ideal candidates possess a doctoral degree in Nursing or Health Sciences, significant research experience, and a collaborative leadership style.
