Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Consultant for Planning Applications to join agile DevOps Feature Teams, focusing on critical planning applications for production sites, especially those utilizing Dassault Systèmes DELMIA/Quintiq Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Detailed Scheduling (DS). The consultant will be instrumental in advising business partners on program and production planning, solving complex planning puzzles, and translating intricate processes into software solutions. A key aspect involves maintaining an integration layer built on Microsoft Azure Kubernetes for seamless integration with SAP ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence stakeholders and end-users by defining new processes and technical standards, ensuring IT solutions align with business needs and IT governance, and applying modern DevOps methodologies like automated testing and CI/CD.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the conception and development of IT solutions and/or process consulting
  • Routine in presenting and discussing in agile meetings and working groups
  • Experience in the international rollout of IT solutions/applications
  • Process knowledge in program and production planning (e.g., Supply Planning, Sequence Planning)
  • Knowledge of associated business objects (master and transactional data)
  • Profound experience in agile software development, including test assurance and application operation
  • Knowledge of 3DS DELMIA/Quintiq MPS and/or DS, or comparable planning applications (e.g., SAP APS)
