Job Summary
As a Consultant for Planning Applications, you will be an integral part of agile DevOps Feature Teams, focusing on planning applications for program and production planning at manufacturing sites. Your daily tasks will involve managing and extending standard Advanced Planning Systems like Dassault Systèmes DELMIA/Quintiq MPS and DS, alongside an integration layer built on Microsoft Azure Kubernetes for SAP ERP and MES integration. You will advise business partners on complex planning processes, translate business requirements into IT solutions, and ensure adherence to IT governance. This role involves designing, developing, and operating IT solutions using modern DevOps methodologies, including automated testing and CI/CD, in close collaboration with key users. Your contributions will significantly impact stakeholders and end-users by defining new processes and technical standards, solving intricate planning puzzles, and supporting international rollouts.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the conception and development of IT solutions and/or process consulting
- Routine in presenting and discussing in agile meetings and working groups
- Experience in the international rollout of IT solutions/applications
- Process knowledge in program and production planning (e.g., supply planning, sequence planning) and related business objects (master and transactional data)
- Solid experience in agile software development, including test assurance and application operation
