Job Summary

This role is a full-time, permanent position at Siemens Energy in Berlin, focusing on the assembly and testing of high-voltage switchgear components. The Electrician/Electronics Technician will be primarily responsible for wiring and testing various gas-insulated modules according to detailed wiring and testing schematics. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing standard hand tools such as torque wrenches and battery-powered screwdrivers, alongside specialized equipment like Atlas Copco screw controls. A key component of the job involves transporting heavy components using an overhead crane. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with proficiency in standard measurement and testing techniques. Fluency in German (minimum B2 level) and willingness to work in a three-shift system are mandatory requirements for this essential manufacturing role.
