Job Summary

This role focuses on driving innovation in the electric vehicle sector by planning and executing sophisticated pre-development and development projects centered around High Voltage (HV) battery systems and overall e-mobility solutions. The engineer will be responsible for defining comprehensive functional and system requirements, translating these into precise component-level specifications, and ensuring compliance with critical functional safety standards. Key daily tasks include the mechanical and electrical design of components, coupled with rigorous documentation and requirements management. Successful candidates must possess a technical degree in fields like Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics, coupled with practical experience in e-mobility, battery technology, and power electronics. Proficiency in industry-standard tools, including CAD software like Creo or Siemens NX, and simulation platforms such as Matlab/Simulink and Target Link, is essential for success in this challenging and rewarding position within the automotive supplier industry.
