Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role as an IT and Digitalization Specialist involves actively driving the digital transformation for the LWL Construction and Real Estate Operations. The core responsibilities include comprehensive IT management, such as the selection, procurement, and administration of hardware and software (DMS, Confluence, collaboration tools), inventory management, and providing technical support and training to staff. A significant part of the role is dedicated to strategic digitalization efforts, including conducting business and process analyses, identifying optimization potential, and contributing to the development and implementation of the overall digitalization strategy. The specialist will also take active roles in agile digitalization projects and ensure compliance with IT security and data protection standards. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Mathematics, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist) combined with long-term relevant professional experience. Multi-year experience, strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and fluent German proficiency are essential for success.

Education

Completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science, Technology, or Mathematics; OR Completed vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, IT Systems Electronics Technician) combined with comparable experience

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in IT and digitalization areas
  • Experience in IT project management, preferably digitalization projects (desirable)
  • Long-term professional experience in IT administration (for vocational/lateral entry candidates)
