Job Summary

The Chemical Specialist is responsible for the safe and environmentally sound management of hazardous waste, primarily focusing on the acceptance, identification, and analysis of materials at the Bargeshagen branch. Day-to-day tasks involve ensuring smooth operations regarding the investigation, declaration, documentation, classification, and assignment of waste to the appropriate disposal systems. A critical component of the role is the independent execution of duties based on stringent technical rules and legal provisions, including performing analytical waste investigations and measurements in the laboratory. The ideal candidate has successfully completed training as a Chemical Worker or Chemical Technician and ideally brings prior experience in the waste and disposal sector.
