Job Summary

This permanent position requires a dedicated Chemical Technician to manage the safe handling, identification, and sorting of hazardous waste and chemicals for a leading industrial service provider specializing in sustainable disposal. Day-to-day responsibilities include accepting, classifying, packaging, and declaring laboratory chemicals and hazardous materials both on-site and at customer locations. The technician will also support the mobile hazardous waste collection team (SafetyTruck) during municipal and commercial collections. Successful candidates must have completed formal training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant or Chemist, ideally bringing practical experience in the waste management sector. The role demands a highly structured, self-motivated approach and familiarity with standard IT programs. As the position involves travel within Central Germany, the willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays is required, ensuring compliance with all technical and legal regulations regarding hazardous materials.
