Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Chemical/Biological Technical Assistant to join a growing, family-run biotechnology company focused on improving tumor diagnostics through innovative peptides and antibodies. The core responsibilities involve hands-on organic synthesis of peptides and inhibitors, ranging from milligram to kilogram scales. A significant part of the job includes product purification using advanced techniques like preparative HPLC, Flash Chromatography, and recrystallization, followed by detailed characterization utilizing methods such as LC-MS and NMR. Candidates must hold a relevant technical assistant qualification (CTA/BTA) or equivalent, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working with large-scale laboratory equipment (up to 6 liters). This position offers a secure workplace, flexible hours in a single-shift system, and a unique blend of production and research tasks within an interdisciplinary team, requiring autonomous work within a robust quality management system.
