Job Summary

This role involves working as an Electrical Engineer for a renowned distribution network operator in the energy sector, focusing on connecting new customer facilities to the power grid in Saffig, Germany. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical solutions for connecting large industrial consumers, EV charging infrastructure, and renewable energy plants (wind/solar). The engineer will conceptualize network connections and metering systems for precise consumption and feed-in measurement. A key responsibility is managing complex energy industry inquiries related to Redispatch 2.0, feed-in tariffs, and gas crisis prevention. The position requires process guidance from technical conception and contract drafting through to the finalization of grid connection and usage contracts. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Law, coupled with knowledge of grid operations and energy industry regulations, and professional experience with relevant energy systems.
