This role, based in Saffig, involves serving as a crucial Network Connection Specialist for a prominent distribution network operator in the energy sector. Day-to-day responsibilities focus on developing comprehensive technical and regulatory solutions for connecting diverse new customer facilities—ranging from large industrial consumers and EV charging infrastructure to wind and solar power plants—to the electricity grid. The specialist will conceptualize network connections and precise metering systems, manage the entire connection process from technical design through contract creation (including network connection and usage agreements), and coordinate technical and economic requirements. A key aspect is handling complex energy industry inquiries related to topics like Redispatch 2.0 and feed-in tariffs. Candidates must hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Economics, or Law, and ideally possess knowledge of network operations, energy regulations, and relevant systems.
