Job Summary

This permanent, part-time position as a Laboratory Engineer in Computer Science involves the critical management and development of technical laboratories, focusing heavily on cutting-edge fields like humanoid robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of lab infrastructure, including the installation, maintenance, documentation, and continuous development of both software services and hardware systems. A key component of the role is supporting academic instruction, assisting faculty, and actively mentoring Bachelor's and Master's students on their projects within the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering department. Candidates must hold a relevant university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) and demonstrate existing knowledge or strong interest in robotics, AI, and the Robot Operating System (ROS). The role requires a structured, service-oriented approach and a commitment to proactively mastering innovative technologies.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory support and development, particularly in Computer Science.
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, continuous development, and documentation of software services and hardware infrastructure.
  • Professional experience supporting academic teaching events and mentoring student projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in robotics and fundamental AI methods.
