Job Summary

This role is centered on managing complex projects related to Building Management Systems (BMS), contributing actively to the development of future-proof buildings. The Project Manager will independently handle all aspects of project execution, from the initial handover from sales through final client acceptance and system commissioning. Key responsibilities include steering project progress, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating various trades to maintain high-quality standards, and conducting regular customer meetings and site inspections. Successful candidates must have a background in Electrical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or a related field (either a degree or a Technician/Master Craftsman qualification). Expertise in VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures), Claim and Change Management, and familiarity with protocols such as LON, BACnet, Modbus, and KNX are essential. This is an unlimited contract position offering a company car and the opportunity to work for a globally recognized, sustainable organization in the Mannheim/Ludwigshafen area.

Required Skills

Education

Training in Electrical Engineering with qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman, OR a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, Supply Engineering, Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) Technology, or Building Automation/BMS.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in project management
  • Experience in handling projects from sales takeover through final client acceptance
