Job Summary
This role is for a Software Development Engineer supporting an internationally successful system supplier of aviation components in Frankfurt/Main. The primary tasks involve creating sophisticated digital content for an autostereoscopic display. This includes developing complex 3D content, such as tactical maps and detailed flight simulations for various mission scenarios. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for implementing 2D clickable cockpit display content using the Unreal Engine. Candidates must hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and possess at least two years of relevant professional experience. Key technical skills required include expertise in software development, aviation requirements, Unreal Engine, stereoscopic cameras, and performance optimization. Fluency in German and at least intermediate English proficiency are mandatory, alongside strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
