Job Summary

This role involves managing the downstream aspects of process transfer and lifecycle projects within an internationally successful pharmaceutical company. Key responsibilities include implementing downstream work packages, troubleshooting, and generating essential regulatory documentation for submissions. The scientist will develop and implement concepts in Manufacturing Science Drug Substance, ensuring alignment across internal networks. The ideal candidate holds a PhD with initial professional experience or a Master's degree with several years of relevant industry experience, preferably in Biotechnology or Chemistry. Essential technical skills include deep knowledge of mammalian cell processes, scale-up/scale-down methods, and statistical approaches like Design of Experiments (DoE). Strong influencing skills, project management abilities, and excellent technical communication in English are essential for collaborating with international partners and driving multidisciplinary team decisions. The position is initially fixed-term until December 2026 and offers a hybrid work model based in Oberschwaben.
