Job Summary

This role involves the independent operation and administration of essential IT services for the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LfL), supporting a digitized work environment across multiple locations. The specialist will manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure, including administrative tasks within Microsoft Active Directory, comprehensive hardware management (PCs, notebooks, peripherals), and maintaining system security via central anti-virus and Windows 11 patch management. Key responsibilities also include managing mobile devices using MDM solutions, operating network-based telephony (VoIP), and providing client-side support for the Microsoft Exchange environment. A core function is user support, handling the IT hotline, processing incoming tickets, and resolving technical faults within the team. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an IT Specialist in System Integration, possesses deep knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange, and must demonstrate very strong written and spoken German skills for effective communication and user instruction.
