Job Summary

This role involves the independent operation and maintenance of core IT services within the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LfL), supporting research and administration across 32 locations. Day-to-day tasks include managing Microsoft Active Directory, handling hardware lifecycle (setup, testing, decommissioning of PCs and notebooks), and administering mobile devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. The specialist will also oversee VoIP telephony infrastructure, manage client-side Microsoft Exchange environments, and handle security incidents and service requests via the IT hotline. Key requirements include a qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, deep knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and hardware management, coupled with excellent German language skills and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
