Job Summary

This critical role seeks an Electronics Technician for IT-Supported Systems to join a federal company dedicated to the high-security storage of radioactive waste in Germany. The position focuses on ensuring the continuous operation and integrity of IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at the Isar site. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous testing, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex technical systems, including crane and PLC controls (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7). The technician will also be essential in implementing IT security measures, managing access controls, and maintaining crucial system documentation, operational manuals, and inventory lists. The ideal candidate must possess a completed qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Automation Technician, coupled with fundamental professional experience in handling PLCs and operational IT applications.
