Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous functionality and security of IT-supported operational systems and technical facilities at the Krümmel site, crucial for the safe storage of radioactive waste. Day-to-day tasks include the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of networked and non-networked systems, such as crane controls and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The technician will also be instrumental in implementing IT security protocols, managing access controls, and meticulously maintaining asset and inventory lists, alongside creating detailed system and safety documentation. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as an Industrial Electronics Technician or Automation Technician, coupled with substantial professional experience in handling PLCs (like Siemens Simatic S7) and enterprise IT applications.
