Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electronics Technician to join the Security & Maintenance department in Neckarwestheim, supporting Germany's critical mission of safely storing radioactive waste. The daily responsibilities involve the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of complex IT-supported operational systems, including both networked and offline facilities. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining technical systems such as crane and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7), contributing significantly to IT security implementation, and meticulously managing system documentation, access controls, and inventory lists. The ideal candidate holds a relevant electrical engineering qualification with broad IT expertise and proven professional experience in PLC systems and technical troubleshooting. This position requires a strong interest in continuous professional development and the willingness to work on-site due to the predominantly isolated nature of the systems. Required Skills

Education
