Job Summary

This role as a DATEV Consultant in Karlsruhe places you at the core of the finance team within the Social and Health Care sector, focusing heavily on general ledger and system administration. You will be responsible for configuring individual clients and consultant settings within DATEV software (including Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen and Unternehmen Online), acting as a Key-User for software administration, and managing updates. A core function is providing expert consulting to internal departments on optimizing the use of DATEV solutions, ensuring system efficiency, and enhancing IT infrastructure security. You will also develop technical documentation and establish best practices for digital collaboration between the firm and external clients. Success requires deep expertise in DATEV products, experience supporting Microsoft system environments, and a background as a certified Financial Accountant, Tax Specialist, or Balance Sheet Accountant, combining strong financial knowledge with IT proficiency and excellent problem-solving skills.
