Job Summary

This role seeks an Engineer specializing in Medium/Low Voltage Asset Management to join the Asset Management team at one of Germany's largest distribution network operators. The core responsibility involves ensuring the sustainability, economic viability, and future-proofing of medium-voltage distribution networks. Day-to-day tasks include developing target network planning, creating operational asset plans, and designing complex connection concepts for renewable energy systems (EEG) and large load customers connecting at substations. The engineer will also be crucial in developing and coordinating regional concepts to advance secure, digital, and efficient MV/LV grids, requiring collaboration with regional centers on high-value projects. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology and demonstrate fundamental knowledge and practical experience in electrical network planning and optimization, ideally coupled with familiarity with network calculation software and GIS systems. This position is a fixed-term contract until the end of 2026, offering responsibility and the chance to actively shape the energy transition.
