Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive Onsite Service Technician to support national and international IT companies through temporary assignments with a high potential for permanent takeover. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing essential repairs, routine maintenance, calibration, and upkeep on various systems, including third-party equipment. The technician will also be crucial in conducting rigorous quality checks and preparing new system commissioning at customer sites. Collaboration with product management to suggest product improvements and providing technical customer support via phone or remote access are key aspects of the job. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician or Electrician, ideally supplemented by a Technician qualification in a related field. Success requires a customer-focused, highly independent, and flexible working style, along with the ability to instruct and train end-users effectively.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician or Electrician; Further qualification as a Technician in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics (preferred); Qualification as an Electrical Specialist (alternative)

Experience

  • Initial professional experience as a Service Technician (preferred)
  • Experience in performing repairs, maintenance, and calibration
  • Professional experience in technical customer support
