Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical work within an international tech company's data center in Frankfurt. The Data Center Technician is responsible for the preparation, staging, setup, and execution of startups and shutdowns of critical infrastructure components like racks, hard drives, and switches, strictly adhering to safety protocols and deployment standards. Key daily activities include performing post-execution quality checks, verifying proper grounding and cabling, and executing Network Design Tasks (NDTs). The technician will also conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, replacing faulty components, and decommissioning hardware for simple changes like memory upgrades.
