Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Metrology Technician looking to advance industrial technology by ensuring precision in manufacturing processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include the measurement of stamped and plastic parts, as well as inspection gauges. Key tasks involve developing comprehensive measuring strategies and fixturing concepts, managing coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and profile projectors, and creating tactile and optical measurement programs for both series production and project phases. Candidates must possess a technical vocational qualification, relevant professional experience in tactile and/or optical measurement, and practical skills in programming and operating 3D coordinate measuring technology. The position also requires coordinating gauge management (monitoring and calibration), training production workers on metrological topics, and supporting the optimization of inspection procedures and complaint resolution.
