Job Summary

This role involves executing crucial non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, specifically Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), on critical rail components like wheelset and bogie assemblies. The Materials Tester is responsible for the thorough preparation of test items, meticulous documentation of work processes and results, and the subsequent evaluation of findings against established criteria. Candidates must possess a completed relevant qualification, such as a Materials Tester apprenticeship, along with mandatory DIN EN ISO 9712 certifications (UT 1, VT 1, MT 1).
