Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of the full hardware development lifecycle for medical devices, from initial concept through to series production. Key responsibilities include designing analog and digital circuits, developing comprehensive hardware concepts, selecting suitable components while balancing cost and quality constraints, and creating schematics and PCB designs using tools like Altium Designer. The developer will also be responsible for commissioning assembled PCBs and devices, conducting preliminary EMC measurements, and managing type approval processes. A successful candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with initial professional experience in both digital and analog circuit development, including familiarity with embedded microcontrollers, HW interfaces, FPGAs, and VHDL. This position requires strong German and good English skills, along with knowledge of relevant normative requirements (CE, EMC, VDE, UL) applicable to medical technology hardware.
