Job Summary

This role is for a Process Engineer specializing in cockpit assembly for a global automotive interior manufacturer's new production facility in Ingolstadt, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing assembly processes for interior modules like instrument panels and center consoles, supporting new product introductions, and conducting Design for Manufacturability evaluations. Day-to-day tasks involve creating and maintaining critical documentation, analyzing and resolving shop floor issues, and coordinating with various teams to drive lean manufacturing initiatives. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly process engineering for automotive interior systems
  • Working experience in JIS or Audi-linked production lines is highly preferred
  • Work experience at leading Tier 1 suppliers (e.g., Yanfeng, Faurecia, Adient, Lear, IAC) is preferred
  • Previous involvement in projects with Audi or other major OEMs is preferred
