Job Summary

This role involves serving as the specialist coordinator for the administration of the Command and Control System (Einsatzleitrechner) within the Dortmund Fire Department. The coordinator will manage complex, recurring, and project-specific technical activities for IT applications, ensuring the functional and organizational readiness of the control center. Key responsibilities include organizing and supervising system administration for control center software, managing subsystem requirements, and supporting strategic development for the control center's future setup. The successful candidate will lead and participate in working groups, handle procurement processes, and contribute to technical leadership during special incidents. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least three years of relevant practical experience, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of responsibility and commitment.
