Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated (Senior) Planning Engineer specializing in Signaling and Train Control Technology (LST) or Railway Crossing Systems (BÜSA) to join Arcadis Mobility Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technically demanding projects, including detailed execution documents for the modernization or conversion of signaling systems using various interlocking technologies. Key daily tasks involve planning, monitoring, and coordinating sub-services provided by internal planners or subcontractors, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and quality standards. Collaboration is crucial, involving project teams, clients, regulatory bodies (EBA), and external engineering firms. The role requires ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and DB standards, participating in site inspections, and identifying contractually owed services, including change orders. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Automation Technology, coupled with professional experience in railway infrastructure planning and proficiency in planning tools like AutoCAD and ProSig.
