Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) Planning Engineer to join Arcadis Mobility Germany, focusing on specialized planning services for rail traffic systems across various German locations (Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt, etc.). Day-to-day responsibilities include executing planning services centered on track systems, civil engineering, drainage, platforms, and level crossings. The engineer will coordinate with all project trades, develop preliminary, draft, approval, and execution plans, prepare bills of quantities, and perform detailed cost estimations. A key aspect involves identifying and managing contractual scope, including supplementary claims. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering and proven professional experience in planning railway infrastructure projects. Essential qualifications include familiarity with planning tools such as AutoCAD, ProSig, ProVI, and iTWO, along with knowledge of BIM, railway operations technology, HOAI, and VOB standards. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, sustainable infrastructure development within a globally recognized firm, working on a permanent contract.
